Don't usually like a Chinese takeaway but The Golden Crown is just great. Lots of flavour in the food and always tastes very fresh. The service is also very welcoming and polite. 5 stars all around

T Bosomworh - Had the pleasure of eating from the Golden Crown for over 30 years and have obviously been treated, I have moved out of the area and realised there is no comparison to the taste and quality of the Crown. I recently visited and was treated with the same warm welcome, great service and fabulous food, best Foo Yung in the land! Irlam is lucky to have the Golden Crown in their area and I would like to thank the beautiful family that have been committed for years to providing the area with an authentic taste, remaining remarkably consistent for over 30 years and always providing an excellent warm and welcoming service.A taste of home. Their food is obviously prepared with much love and attention. I wish then much luck and prosperity for the future x

As always, excellent food and service Update: Ordered food for 10 people to take up to the Yorkshire Dales for our first evening meal on the Friday.( 28th Mar 25) Arranged to order on the Wednesday and collect on Friday lunchtime.. Food all packaged for us and exceptional (as usual) . Our extended family (from Workington, Cumbria), commented on how good the food was. They can't wait to visit and order from here 😁

Worth travelling from Eccles on a weekly basis to go to one of the best chippies locally. Highly recommend the beef satay, a classic that is hard to get right! Also the salt and pepper chips are just perfect! Efficient service and friendly staff

'Food fit for a King', the hint is in the name. I live in North Manchester and have been a returning customer for 15 years. The sweet and sour, satay, curry, black bean, noodle and vermicelli dishes are bang on the buck for texture, flavour and consistency. Put simply, DELICIOUS. You must try the 'Salt & Pepper Chips', it is out of this world. (Meaning, this is the only place I have never needed to say that there wasn't enough flavour to what the spuds say on the tin.
